1. Acceptance of these Terms

Plain languageBy using Wholechart, you're agreeing to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Wholechart ("Wholechart," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Wholechart mobile application and any related services (together, the "App"). By creating an account or otherwise using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you downloaded the App through Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the App, to the extent these Terms don't say otherwise for a given topic.

2. What Wholechart is

Plain languageWholechart generates astrology, BaZi, and numerology readings from your birth details and the dates you choose.

Wholechart combines three interpretive traditions — Western astrology, Chinese BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny), and Pythagorean numerology — into readings generated from the birth date, time, and location you provide, and from dates you select within the App (including a "Look Back" feature that generates a reading for a date already in the past). The App also includes a personal journal where you can log reflections tied to your readings.

3. Entertainment & self-reflection only

Plain languageWholechart is for entertainment and self-reflection. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and the journal is not therapy.

Astrology, BaZi, and numerology are cultural and interpretive frameworks, not scientific or predictive instruments. All readings, insights, and content generated by Wholechart are provided for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. They are not a substitute for, and should not be relied upon in place of, advice from a qualified professional — including medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. Nothing in the App is intended to diagnose, treat, or provide guidance for any medical or psychological condition.

The journal feature is a private self-reflection tool. It is not therapy, counseling, or a clinical record, and Wholechart is not a healthcare provider. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or, in the United States, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). You are solely responsible for any decisions you make in reliance on content in the App.

4. Eligibility

Plain languageYou must be at least 17 to use Wholechart.

You must be at least 17 years old to create an account or use the App. Wholechart is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (see our Privacy Policy for more on this). By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, including the subscription terms in Section 6.

5. Your account

Plain languageKeep your login secure, and give us accurate birth data — the readings only work if it's correct.

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, including your birth date, time, and location — inaccurate input will produce inaccurate readings, and Wholechart isn't responsible for the results of incorrect data you enter.

6. Subscription terms

Plain languageWholechart Pro is a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, billed by Apple or Google — not by us directly. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Cancel from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

What's included. Wholechart Pro unlocks full access to your tri-system readings, chart detail, and journal history and trends. Free-tier access is available without a subscription with limited features; the exact feature boundaries are shown in the App.

Free trial. New subscribers may be offered a free trial (length shown at the time of purchase — currently 7 days for eligible new subscribers). If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you will automatically be charged the subscription price shown at signup. The exact trial length and post-trial price are always shown to you before you confirm purchase.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your payment method will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price then in effect.

All billing is handled by Apple or Google. Payments are processed entirely through Apple's App Store or Google Play billing systems — Wholechart never receives or stores your payment card details. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID or Google account, not to a Wholechart-specific payment record.

How to cancel. You can cancel anytime before the next renewal date, with no cancellation fee. Deleting the Wholechart app from your device does not cancel your subscription — you must cancel through your platform account:

• iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Wholechart → Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Google Play app → Menu → Subscriptions → Wholechart → Cancel Subscription.

When you cancel, you keep Pro access through the end of the period you already paid for — we don't provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period, except where required by law (for example, EU/EEA consumers have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right on a first purchase, and California residents have rights under Cal. Civ. Code §1789.3 to cancel within a specified window — contact us at the email in Section 15 if you believe either applies to you).

Price changes. If we change subscription pricing, we'll give existing subscribers reasonable advance notice (at least 30 days) before a new price applies to their next renewal, and any required consent will be obtained through the app store's own price-change confirmation flow.

Restoring a purchase. If you reinstall the App or switch devices, use the "Restore Purchases" option in the App to reconnect an active subscription tied to your Apple ID or Google account — no need to purchase again.

7. One-time purchases

Plain languageSome features (like a one-off compatibility report) are sold as single, non-subscription purchases.

Certain features — such as a one-time synastry/compatibility report — may be offered as single, non-recurring purchases separate from a Wholechart Pro subscription, priced and described at the time of purchase. One-time purchases are not refundable once the content has been delivered, except as required by applicable law or your app store's own refund policy.

8. Your content

Plain languageYour journal entries are yours. We store them to show them back to you — we don't sell them or use them to train models on other people's data.

Journal entries and other content you create in the App remain yours. By using the App, you grant Wholechart a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the service for you — for example, to show your own journal history and trends back to you, or to generate a "Look Back" reading against a date you've logged. We do not claim ownership of your content, do not sell it, and do not use it to train models for other users.

9. AI-assisted content

Plain languageSome narrative text in the App may be generated with AI language models rather than written by a human astrologer.

Some of the narrative explanations Wholechart shows you may be generated using large language models rather than authored directly by a human. AI-generated content can be inaccurate or inconsistent, and — like all content in the App — is provided for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only, subject to Section 3 above.

10. Acceptable use

Plain languageUse the app lawfully, don't try to scrape or reverse-engineer it, and don't impersonate someone else.

You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the App's underlying data, models, or algorithms; impersonate another person when creating an account; or interfere with the App's normal operation or security. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Deleting your account

Plain languageYou can delete your account and data anytime from the app's account settings. This does not automatically cancel a subscription — see Section 6.

You may delete your account and its associated data at any time from within the App's account settings. Account deletion is separate from subscription cancellation — deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription with Apple or Google; cancel that separately as described in Section 6. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you delete your account.

12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

13. Governing law

Plain languageThese Terms are governed by U.S. law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

Plain languageWe'll tell you before any material changes take effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll notify you in the App or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the App after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
